Today I.... caught my 10-month old baby eating cat food. It's loads cheaper than baby food so I think I could be onto something here.

In preparation for attending an open day at The Rock next w/e, I gave my jackboots another coat of polish, and applied Carr's leather oil to the soles.

Watched the Eagle has landed (spotted more faults but also possibly one M1 carbine rather than an M2!- yes I'm sad) and did some more work on my helmets.

Today I...changed my email font to FRAKTUR (German Gothic Script) - so now every offer of Viagra and penis enlargement looks like it's from the Fuhrer. It's been making me chuckle all day.

..am in bed with the winter vomiting virus.

I missed my work Christmas parties because I had a bad bout of 'flu; now I'm missing New Year because of this. Feck it!

Managed to have a good couple of days in Snowdonia though. How many of you can say you've had this view?-- attachment is not available --

Had to sort out a mountain of clothing to sort out my stuff for work. Have had a few days off over xmas and new year and it sucks having to go back. At least the roads are clear of school run idiots and company BMW driving morons for a couple of days!

Today I got round to repairing the bath plug which broke it's chain some five years ago. Took all of three minutes to re-attach. Meh, it's a question of priorities!
